Through 25 years of experience, Protocol developed a recruiting and sourcing system that has been highly successful.

Take a moment to review how we recruit, qualify and ultimately, get the candidate hired.

Step 1
We conduct a thorough needs analysis of the position including title, compensation, work experience, skills, personality characteristics, potential target companies & candidates, and an understanding of the responsibilities, qualifications and expectations of the position.
With a clear job description, we search for the right individual who is best suited for your environment/corporate culture. We also strategize with the client regarding the most effective method of presenting its opportunities.

Step 2
We identify all individuals who have the qualifications required for each position. We contact industry leaders to locate the exceptional people who meet your criteria. We do not run newspaper ads. Those readers are looking for jobs, while our candidates want to advance their careers.

Step 3
All prospective candidates are contacted to determine their qualification and interest in the position. After this initial round of screening, we schedule an in-depth interview with only those most qualified.

Step 4
The most qualified candidates are evaluated to determine their strengths and weaknesses, as well as determine their motivation to make a change and susceptibility to a counteroffer. We find the direction in which the candidates would like their careers to progress during the next three to five years, where they have been the happiest during their careers and what they were doing at that time. We then perform preliminary reference checks on these candidates as an additional method to evaluate their likely performance in the position.

Step 5
After assessing the most qualified candidates, we provide confidential resumes on the best of the best. We review and present each candidate’s background and, with client approval, arrange interviews for the client to meet personally with the top candidates.

Step 6
Protocol is the liaison in arranging meeting times, travel arrangements and other details to insure a smooth and comfortable interview process.

Step 7
After the interviews have been conducted, Protocol consults with candidate again about the counteroffer issue. Protocol then assists the client in determining compensation, stock options and other benefits required to attract the best individuals.

Step 8
With client’s approval, Protocol extends a formal offer to candidate. We do not extend offers unless acceptance is guaranteed. We consult and advise the candidate through the resignation process to eliminate counteroffer issues.

Protocol’s involvement in the process does not just stop after the candidate is hired. We will conduct three consecutive quality checks to ensure that expectations of the candidate and client are being met. This will happen one week after start, 30 days after start and then finally just before 90 days.

Our commitment to the client will continue for the length of the candidates employment as we are committed not just only to the recruitment process, but also in retention.
